New Tower for Trump Taj Mahal

The Casino Reinvestment Development Authority approved a $15.4 million grant for a new $250-million, 800-room hotel tower at Trump Taj Mahal. Joseph Fusco, executive vice president of governmental affairs, informed that the company received the approval from the city planning board.

“Work has already begun on the 43-story tower” Mark Juliano, Chief Operating officer for Trump Entertainment Resorts said. The additional tower will give the Hotel and Casino more than 2,000 guest rooms.

The tower is due to open in 2008.
